UPCOMING: Interfaith Partners of SC at Florence Library
Tomorrow, Sunday, January 25, the Florence Branch of Interfaith Partners of South Carolina is hosting the second in a quarterly series of educational events about the diversity of religious communities in the Florence area. The event will take place from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Florence County Library on Dargan St. in downtown Florence. Dr. Chaudhry Sadiq will speak on Islam and I will speak on the Baha'i Faith. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion after the short presentations, and refreshments will be served.
Gov. Nikki Haley has proclaimed January as Interfaith Harmony Month in South Carolina, and a full calendar of events around the state during January and February is at the IPSC website.
